Registration

  • A full conference registration includes morning and afternoon refreshment breaks on both days, lunch on both days, all keynote sessions, concurrent sessions and the Exhibitor Fair as well as access to the CDAA AGM and Awards Ceremony.

The Career Development Association of Alberta (CDAA) is honoured to host the fourth annual Alberta Career Development Conference (ACDC) at the Fantasyland Hotel, West Edmonton Mall, Edmonton, Alberta on May 3 & 4, 2017.

This year’s conference offers

  • Two internationally recognized keynote speakers, both highly respected in the career development community, who will weave the past, present, and future of career development together and engage delegates in actively shaping the profession.

  • 42 concurrent sessions focused on current and relevant information about innovative career development practices, workplace health and wellness, career development trends, service and resource advancements, labour market trends and issues, and human resources trends and considerations.

  • 20 exhibitor booths showcasing tools, resources, programs, and services to support you and your clients.

The CDAA is excited to welcome up to 300 delegates, presenters, and exhibitors to ACDC 2017! Whether you are new to career development, new to ACDC, or a seasoned professional, there is something for everyone. Connect with colleagues, thought leaders, employers, service providers, researchers, and educators from Alberta and beyond. Stay current, get connected, and be committed.  


In addition to the conference activities, the CDAA will be hosting its Annual General Meeting and Awards Ceremony (May 4, 2017 from 4:15pm – 5:15pm) and the CDAA 20th Anniversary Gala Celebration (May 3, 2017 from 5:30pm – 9:30pm). The CDAA Annual General Meeting and Awards Ceremony is open to all. Event and ticket purchase details for the CDAA 20th Anniversary Gala Celebration will be available in the coming weeks and will be posted on the CDAA website.

In order to ensure that presenters are scheduled into rooms that will accommodate interested delegates we request that you select your sessions in advance of the conference. 

You will not be able to complete your registration until you have selected your session preferences. Your session selections will be provided to you with your onsite registration.
