NOTICE TO CDAA MEMBERS
CDAA Membership Late Renewal Fees / CCDP Reinstatement Fees January 2018
Dear CDAA Members: 
We
 value your commitment to your profession and are grateful for your 
continued support of the CDAA. In order to ensure your continue to 
receive the benefits that the CDAA has to offer and to maintain your 
CCDP designation it is important that your CDAA membership be renewed in
 a timely manner.
In 
January 2018 the CDAA Board of Directors approved a CDAA Membership Late
 Renewal Fee and CCDP Reinstatement Fee policy as recommended by the 
Registration / Standards and Certification Committee. The implementation
 of late renewal fees and reinstatement fees is the result of a 
comprehensive review of the CDAA's current fee structure and part of an 
overall financial policy review. All CDAA members should receive at 
least three (3) automatic notification reminders regarding their 
membership expiry date. If you are unsure of your membership expiry date
 you can access that information by logging in to your CDAA member 
profile at http://www.careerdevelopment.ab.ca/.
 Please also ensure your contact information is up to date so that you 
continue to receive notifications and communications from the CDAA.
The following came into effect on March 1, 2018: 
CDAA Membership Late Renewal Fees 
Effective
 March 1, 2018 a $50.00 + GST late fee, in addition to the CDAA 
membership renewal fee, will be applied to all CDAA memberships renewed 
after the expiry date.
CDAA
 members who do not act on the email renewal reminders sent to them in 
advance of their CDAA membership expiry date will have a late fee of 
$50.00 + GST manuallly applied to their account the day after their CDAA
 membership expires. In order to maintain their CDAA membership the 
member must pay the CDAA membership renewal fee and late fee within 30 
days of the expiry date. Members who do not pay the membership renewal 
fee and late fee within 30 days of the expiry date will be removed from 
the CDAA member directory and member benefits will cease.
Should
 a former member choose to reactivate their CDAA membership after their 
removal from the CDAA member directory they must apply for a new CDAA 
membership. The application will not be approved until the new 
membership fee and the previously applied late fee are paid in full.
CCDPs
 who do not act on the email renewal reminders sent to them in advance 
of their CDAA membership expiry date will have a late fee of $50.00 + 
GST manually applied to their account the day after their CDAA 
membership expires. In  order to maintain their CDAA membership and
 CCDP designation the member must pay the CDAA membership renewal fee 
and late fee within 30 days of the expiry date. CCDPs who do not pay the
 membership renewal fee and late fee within 30 days of the expiry date 
will be removed from the CDAA member directory, will no longer hold the 
CCDP designation, and member benefits will cease.
Should
 a former CCDP choose to reactive their CDAA membership after their 
removal from the CDAA member directory they must apply for a new CDAA 
membership. The application will not be approved until the new 
membership fee and the previously applied late fee are paid in full. The
 former CCDP may be eligible for CCDP reinstatement.
CCDP Reinstatement Fees
Effective March 1, 2018 a 
$100.00 + GST CCDP reinstatement fee, in addition to the 
re-certification application fee, will be applied to all CCDP 
re-certification applications submitted after the CCDP expiry date.

 who do not act on the email re-certification reminders sent to them in 
advance of their CCDP expiry date will have a reinstatement fee of 
$100.00 + GST manually applied to their account the day after their CCDP
 expires. In order to maintain their CCDP designation the member must 
pay the re-certification application fee and reinstatement fee within 30
 days of the CCDP expiry date. Members who do not pay the 
re-certification application fee and reinstatement fee within 30 days of
 the CCDP expiry date will be removed from the CCDP directory and will 
no longer hold the CCDP designation.
Should
 a former CCDP choose to reinstate their CCDP designation after their 
removal from the CCDP directory they must apply for re-certification. 
The application will not be considered for approval until the 
re-certification fee, reinstatement fee, and CDAA membership renewal fee
 / new membership fee and late fee (if applicable) are paid in full. 
Former CCDPs will only be eligible for re-certification up to two (2) 
years after their CCDP expiry date. After two (2) years former CCDPs 
will be required to submit a new CCDP application.
